 Hmmm... save the judgement of whether you're a macro photographer or not for the critics. This is actually a very good shot. You want the background in the left to be blurred like that. It eliminates distraction. It might have been a little nicer not to lose the spiders legs in the cropping at the right, but the photo still works well. Good color and saturation. You have the general idea of macro photography down right, and this shot rates a
